Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst and Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, ensuring that business requirements are effectively documented and translated into actionable plans. You will play a critical role in sprint planning, release management, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, development, and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily scrum meetings to ensure team alignment and progress tracking.
- Facilitate sprint planning sessions to prioritize work and set achievable goals.
- Ensure that product releases are made on time and within scope, with smooth execution of release processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive release notes that document updates and changes.
- Own the end-to-end release process, from planning to execution, ensuring smooth transitions between teams.
- Develop detailed product manuals and user guides to support product launches and updates.
- Document business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable items for UI/UX, development, and QA teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development team.
- Work closely with product and QA teams to ensure clarity on project goals and requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to the team by driving projects to meet objectives and offering necessary clarifications.
- Engage with customers to ensure features meet expectations and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Create flowcharts and diagrams using tools like Visio or draw.io to illustrate processes.
- Use JIRA for managing user stories, sprint planning, and bug tracking.
- Leverage additional bug-tracking tools such as Bugzilla when necessary.
- Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications for products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as both a Business Analyst and Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in daily scrum practices.
- Proficiency in tools such as Visio, draw.io, JIRA, and Bugzilla.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in creating technical documentation, user guides, and product manuals.
- Familiarity with other bug-tracking and project management tools is a plus.
